where the sun shines bright in the valley of the moon

what do tourists look for in Sonoma County and what do they find -- it's all the same thing
WINE SCOOPS ...

North of San Francisco, tree-shaded Sonoma Plaza centers the small town of Sonoma in Sonoma Valley, where the 1800's Sonoma Mission, pictured at left, keeps memory alive of the past.

Perfect weather, lovely scenery dominated by vineyards, old and new, spotted from Sonoma up through Santa Rosa northward, gives the tourist many pictures of charm and easy living.

A short trip north from the San Francisco Bay Area, tourists are transplanted back to an age of calm and graceful living.

Sonoma County is one of the world's beauty spots, and this is how both Luther Burbank and Jack London, former residents, wrote about it.
